Lantau Lodge, in the beautiful village of Shui Hau
A fully licensed and insured and can accommodate up to 8 people. With easy access by bus and taxi and ten minutes from the Tian Tan Buddha and Tai O Fishing Village, we are your home away from home on South Lantau. We are in the middle sections 9 and 10 of the Lantau Trail and have 3 beaches that are within easy walking distance. Our rooftop is a great place to chill and is beautiful at night and we have wifi and Netflix when you want a quiet night in.

From Hong Kong International Airport – Take a BLUE taxi from the taxi rank and ask for Shui Hau Village or take the number S1 1 bus to Tung Chung (number for Lantau Taxi is 852-29841328/29841368).
From Tung Chung – Take a BLUE taxi from the taxi rank next to the MTR and ask for Shui Hau Village or take the number 11, 11A or 23 bus from the Tung Chung bus station and get off in Shui Hau Village – here are the bus timetables www.newlantaobus.com/route
From Mui Wo – Take a BLUE taxi from the taxi rank and ask for Shui Hau Village or take the number 1 bus from the Mui Wo bus station (next to the ferry pier) and get off in Shui Hau Village
Things to do nearby
Tian Tan Buddha & Po Lin Monastery
Just 10 minutes (take a taxi or bus number 2 or 23 from the bus stop on the opposite side of South Lantau Road from Lantau Lodge) from Lantau Lodge the Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery are simply spectacular, after your visit why not take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, with breathtaking views of the Lantau Hills and Hong Kong International Airport, into Tung Chung.


Tai O
Tai O Village has something for everyone, from the traditional houses on stilts to local delicacies and ancient temples, and a visit is an absolute must and should also include a walk to the Tai O Heritage Hotel which is a listed building and was a former police station dating back to the 19th Century. Boat trips are also available and offer a glimpse of the local pink dolphins as well as the Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai Bridge. For the energetic Tai O is on the Lantau Trail.
Lo Kei Wan Beach and Lantau Trail Section 9 & 10
Lo Kei Wan Beach is 15 minutes walk from Lantau Lodge and is on Section 9 of the Lantau Trail.


Shui Hau Beach
Shui Hau beach is famous for clamming when there is a low tide and is also the capital of Kiteboarding in Hong Kong, access is a path directly opposite the Lantau Lodge across South Lantau Road

The Gallery in Tong Fuk has a large selection of high quality bbq meats in addition to homemade pizza and quality ales on tap and wine by the glass and bottle.
